- Building healthy soil over winter with compost, cover crops, and mulch
- Protecting perennials, shrubs, and young trees from cold and frost
- Cleaning, sharpening, and storing garden tools
- Draining and storing hoses, irrigation, and rain barrels
- Simple fall tasks that save you time next spring
