Forest Management for Maple Producers

Come tour an organic maple operation and learn about maintaining a healthy and sustainable sugar bush with Aaron Wightman, Statewide Maple Specialist, Co-Director Cornell Maple Program; Allegany County’s NRCS; and Soil & Water Conservation District will also share resources that are available for local maple producers.
Please dress appropriately for walking on various terrain in fall weather conditions. Refreshments will be provided. We ask that you bring a lawn chair if you have one.
