(Second date 2022)

Healthy soil = Healthy and productive plants!

Join the team of master gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County for our annual pH clinic for the community from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24th, at the Tinkertown Hardware & Supply store, 833 State Rte 244, Alfred Station, NY 14803

Community members are encouraged to bring up to 2 soil samples (sandwich bag-sized) for free pH measurement. (if you have more than 2 soil samples there's a $3 fee after the second sample). Testing the pH of your soil is a free way to get information about your soil and get some advice for your garden or house plants.

Bring your soil samples and questions about gardening for the master gardeners.
