Centerpieces for the Holidays

  • Thursday, November 9, 2017, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Nature’s bounty does not end with the gardening season. Fall berries of holiday colors (white, red), teasel, different kinds of ferns, evergreen cones and boughs, grasses, seed pods, dried flowers and fruits offer a variety of materials for holiday decorations; both Thanksgiving and Christmas! So dazzle your friends and relatives with beautiful natural arrangements made by you!

Come join CCE Allegany County Master Gardener Volunteers, Terry Haas, Brenda Starr, Mary Lu Wells, and Deb MacCrea on November 9th, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm for a fun and information filled pre-holiday event. Participants will learn the basics of making holiday centerpieces and will be able to take home a completed centerpiece of their own design (we do ask participants to bring their own small container).

Contact Colleen Cavagna to pre-register at cc746@cornell.edu or 585-268-7644 ext.12. Sign-up early as this will fill faster than a turkey’s gobble.
