  • Friday, July 22, 2016, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Hey Kids!

Grab your parent, grandparent or babysitter and come to one of our summer children's gardening programs. We promise you will learn great information about plants AND you will get to sample the vegetables and other foods we talk about at the end. YUM!

Colleen Cavagna, Community Educator and Brenda Starr, Master Gardener Volunteer will be at the Whitesville Library July 22nd at 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. to talk about the "Structure and Function of Plants."

Can't make it to Whitesville?

That's okay, we will be at the Belmont Library July 22nd at 1:30 pm until 3:00 p.m

Not only will you learn about the function of the the plants parts. We will have fun identifying the different part of the plants that we eat (root, stem, leaf, flower, fruit, and seed). Best of all - you get to sample some great tasting food.
