Feeder-Calf & Replacement Sale

Saturday October 21, 2017 Hosted by Region 4 - NY Beef Producers Association & Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany and Steuben Counties in conjunction with Empire Livestock Marketing, LLC 7418 Route 415N in Bath, NY. If you have cattle to consign please call Jonathon Lubic @ (585) 447-3842 BY OCTOBER 2, 2017 for pre-sale advertising. Jonathon is the Operations Manager at Empire in Bath and wants to get a few details on everyone's cattle so that he can in return call his larger buyers to say they have a certain number of pre-conditioned head. If you do not reach him by the 2nd you may still sell cattle just won't make pre-sale advertising.

Calf Program Guidelines Producers will provide documentation of vaccination and other treatments. All procedures will be announced before sale of animal. Third party verification provided for Organic, All Natural or Grass-fed. Some may ask, what if I can't meet the guideline's for pre-conditioning, can I still sell? Yes, you can still sell! VACCINATED and weaned cattle are the most important, dewormed ranks high up there too, but if they are not castrated they can still sell, Jonathon says he finds that non-castrated calves just don't sell as well as castrated.

Cattle to arrive October 20th from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Cattle Preview October 21st 8:00 - 10:00 am Feeder calves will be weaned minimum 30 days. Pre-conditioned cattle will be penned separately and sell first!

Cattle not meeting protocol will be separated and sold as non-conforming cattle.
