Grow Your Own Starts Again
By M. L. Wells, Master Gardener Volunteer, Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County
We have new dates for the Grow Your Own Zoom talks. For the summer we moved to Mondays at the Box of Books Library–the live program is at the same time from 11:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. but on Mondays. Here are the NEW dates and topics for July: Monday, July 17–how and why to deadhead, pinch or shear your flowers for more blooms, and the second sowing for a fall crop. Monday, July 31–flowers in the veggie garden–some to eat–some to attract pollinators!
See you at the New Times–Happy Harvesting!
So, tune in to the Box of Books webpage at http://alfredboxofbookslibrary.org/events/ or YouTube, or join us live at the library at 1 West University, Alfred, NY 14802, and find out how to do it all.
