What's Your Weed Day

Come join Allegany Master Gardeners at the Wellsville Public Library Saturday, July 31st.

We will be hosting a program in weed identification. Are you curious to know what the weed is that's growing in your garden or backyard? Are you trying to get rid of it and having little success?

Our Master Gardeners are here to help an we'll be here from 11AM-1PM.

We ask that you:

- Bring in up to 2 different types of weeds

- Try to get as much of the root as possible, while removing as much soil as possible

- To help  preserve the weed for identification, please wrap the roots in wet paper tower and place the weed in a plastic bag
