Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Erie County and Harvest NY are offering a hands-on workshop to prepare farms in New York, both beginning and experienced, to enter new markets by better understanding how to determine quality and grade of agricultural products. Come learn how to grade vegetables and package for different markets including practice with peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes.
The workshop will take place at Henry W. Agle and Sons Farm, 7915 Gowanda State Road, Eden (across the road from Agle's Farm Market) on Thursday, August 31st from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The cost of the course is $10 for those not enrolled in CCE, and $5 for CCE enrollees. Registration is limited to the first 20 people.
